Services

iOS and Android apps from one codebase.

We build mobile apps with React Native and Expo, together with the API, the admin and the release pipeline they need. One TypeScript codebase for both stores, tested on real screens before every release.

When it fits

  • You need the app on iOS and Android without paying for two teams.
  • Besides the screens, the app needs its own backend and an admin.
  • Live location, push notifications or offline use matter to the product.
  • You want the code and the store accounts in your name.

What you get

  • iOS and Android apps from one codebase
  • The API and admin behind them
  • Automated end-to-end flows on real screens
  • Store listings and a release pipeline

How we build it

How we work
  1. 01

Spec the screens and the data

Flows, roles and what works offline, written down and approved before the build.

  2. 02

    Contract first

An OpenAPI contract between the app and the API generates the typed clients, so the two can't drift apart.

  3. 03

    Test on real screens

End-to-end flows run on devices and simulators, and the web parts run accessibility checks in CI.

  4. 04

    Ship to the stores

Store listings, signed builds and a release pipeline, published under your own developer accounts.

FAQ

Why React Native and not two native apps?

One codebase and one team for both stores, so features land on iOS and Android together. When a feature needs native code, we write that part natively.

Who owns the App Store and Google Play accounts?

You do. We publish under your developer accounts, so the app, its reviews and its users stay yours.

Can you take over an app someone else built?

Yes. We start with a short review of the code and the release setup, then continue through a Build or a Retainer.

How long does it take to build an app?

It depends on the scope, so the proposal gives each phase a range of weeks. The first milestone is always something you can install and use.

How to scope an MVP in one page.

Before you ask anyone for a price, write one page. It doesn't need to be technical. It needs to say who the product is for, the one job it does, and what it won't do yet. Here is the template we start from, with an example.

Fixed-price MVP: what a $5,000 Product Sprint includes.

A Product Sprint turns an idea into a written spec, a prototype and a plan with a fixed price for each milestone. It costs $5,000, paid up front, and it's credited in full to a Build that starts within 60 days.
